The Snowplow Sam levels are introductory classes divided into four progressive levels allowing children, 4 to 6 years of age, with no prior skating experience to build confidence while learning the basic skills of skating.

The Hockey curriculum is designed to teach the fundamentals of hockey skating. In four badge levels, proper skating techniques for the game of hockey are the primary focus of the levels.

Sponsored by the Chicago Blackhawks, Amateur Hockey Association of Illinois (AHAI) and USA Hockey, Minor Hawks Skills is designed to enhance individual player hockey skills of all ages.  In addition to reviewing skills learned in Hockey 3 & 4 classes, Minor hawks Skills instructors will have a greater focus on teaching the proper mechanics of stick handling, passing and shooting. Minor Hawks Skills is a great way for players in Hockey 3 or 4 classes or Yellowjackets Junior Jackets in-house program to get more hockey specific instruction and additional ice time!

Proud to announce the newly formed hockey development program (previously known as Hockey 3 & 4), instructed by renowned Coach Gus Liatos. Coach Gus has over 40 years of hockey instruction at all age levels throughout the state of Illinois. Youth Hockey Development will reinforce skating skills learned in Hockey 1 & 2 classes, and will introduce advanced hockey skills in full equipment. An emphasis on stick handling, passing, and shooting skills in a high-paced environment will prepare players for team play.

Requirements; must have completed Hockey 2 or equivalent to participate.

Proud to offer Junior Jacket Skills with Coach Gus. Designed for those played wanting an extra ice touch each week to enhance hockey stills. The focus will be on advanced stick handling, passing, and shooting skills. There will be an additional emphasis on edge work and skating skills; the cornerstones for any hockey player wanting to excel at higher levels.

Requirements; must be a Junior Jacket player or equivalent.

This one of a kind class helps develop correct technique right from the start and helps skaters reach their full potential. Hockey Power Class focuses on forward and backward skating, stops, turns, transitions and explosive starts. Skaters become more powerful, stable, explosive, and efficiently fast.
